Christina Liu

Christina is a transactional attorney with nearly 20 years of licensing and intellectual property law experience.  Her practice focuses on the adoption, clearance, acquisition, protection, licensing, and exploitation of brands, intellectual property and entertainment rights. She assists a wide spectrum of clients, including both emerging and iconic brands, and provides a holistic yet pragmatic approach to helping her clients achieve their business goals. 


 

In addition to managing both domestic and international intellectual property portfolios, Christina regularly assists clients with intellectual property related transactions including license agreements, permission agreements, IP releases, master service agreements, non-disclosure agreements, influencer and brand ambassador agreements, representation agreements, and coexistence agreements among many others.  



 
Having previously worked in-house at a licensing agency, Christina also understands the particular business and legal needs of the licensing business and takes pride in helping clients build and grow successful licensing programs. She provides strategic counseling on deal strategy, contract negotiations, contract compliance and enforcement, program audits, and other issues that may arise in the course the licensing relationship. 



 
Christina was previously employed by prominent law firms including Greenberg Traurig, LLP and Loeb & Loeb LLP. She received her Juris Doctorate degree from UCLA School of Law, and her Bachelor of Arts degree from Cornell University.
